2 coats of Nippon Durafresh
Repainting
1 coat of Nippon V2000 water-based sealer
2 coats of Nippon Durafresh
Note: For repainting, when the substrate is chalky has to use Nippon
5170 oil-based sealer.
Pros:
1) Good in dirt resistant, but dependent on the design of the building.
2) Lower possibility of a fully-cured paint film cracking in cold environment.
Nippon Vinilex 5000 Acrylic Emulsion
Painting System: New Painting
1 coat of Nippon 5170 oil-based sealer
2 coats of Nippon Vinilex 5000 Acrylic Emulsion
Repainting
1 coat of Nippon V2000 water-based sealer
2 coats of Nippon Vinilex 5000 Acrylic Emulsion
Note: For repainting, when the substrate is chalky has to use Nippon
5170 oil-based sealer.
Pros:
1) More economical as compared to Nippon Durafresh and Nippon Excel 100
Cons:
1) Lesser in U.V. resistant, paint film may chalk, as compared to Durafresh and Nippon Excel 100.
2) Higher possibility of a fully-cured paint film cracking in cold environment.
Nippon Excel 100 Finishing Coat
Painting System: New and Repainting Painting
1 coat of Nippon Excel 100 sealer
2 coats of Nippon Excel 100 Finishing Coat
Pros:
1) Ability to apply at a lower surface temperature and paint can store at a lower temperature too.
2) Solvent-based paint dry faster in cold environment compared to water-based paint. Generally, solvent-based paint is more robust than water-based paint for curing at low temperature
Cons:
May collect dirt faster. This will depends on the design of the building.
Painting Condition and Storage
Nippon Durafresh and Nippon V5000 Acrylic Emulsion
– During painting surface temperature must be higher than 10 degree celsius.
– For storage, room temperature must not below -5 degree celsius.
Nippon Excel 100
– During painting surface temperature must be higher than 5 degree celsius.
– For storage, room temperature must not below -10 degree celsius
